Welcome to the Basement Studio
Basement Studio is a brand new acoustically
treated recording & rehearsal studio in the heart of Dorset
near the South coast of England. It is located just outside the
town of Wimborne Minster approximately 30 minutes away from
Bournemouth.
Rehearsal Space: Our acoustically treated live
room is available for rehearsal. It comes complete with PA
system & drums, although you will need to provide your own
cymbals, snare & sticks.
Recording Studio: The Studio now offers a
number of recording packages, tailored to suit your individual
needs & budget.
The DJ lounge: Our brand new DJ Lounge is
equipped for DJ practice & tuition, as well as our regular DJ
Jam sessions, complete with Lasers, 360 Moving Heads & Lighting
Rig.

Basement Studio is now set up as a registered
charity. Our aim is for the studio & DJ Lounge to be available
not only for musicians, DJ's & Producers looking for recording
& rehearsal space, but also for people who would not normally
have the opportunity to use such a studio.
The current tariffs for rehearsal space are:
- Off-Peak £7.50/Hour
- Peak £10.00/Hour
Please note we have a minimum booking of 2 hours
Off-Peak = Weekdays 8am til 6pm
Peak = Weekdays 6pm til 8am & Weekends

use of the rehearsal room, not per person)
