About Basement Studio

Basement Studio is a registered charity.

Our desire is to provide rehearsal, recording & DJ facilities that are technically and acoustically competitive with more established studios, not only for existing bands, artists, DJ's & Producers, but also for people who wouldn't normally have the opportunity to use such a facility. Through this we aim to build a community of artists & musicians, to create opportunities, to network and encourage each other.

The studio is located in the basement of a warehouse in Wimborne. We have an acoustically treated Live Room, Control Room, Drum Room/Vocal Room and a DJ Lounge with a full sound & lighting rig. The rooms have access via a double door fire exit for oversized equipment. Toilets and refreshment facilities are available for all bookings. A drum kit and P.A. system are available when booked in advance.
